I Wish You Could Have Stayed was written for someone I no longer speak to. I wanted so desperately to be a part of that person's life. I have to accept that not everything works out, even when it seems like everything should. Remember to listen - truly listen to what people are saying. Remember that your worth is, in the end, defined by you alone.
Remember that things will change. For better or worse, this is all we have.
Take your hate and make something. Even if it's shit, it's better than nothing.
Keep it honest. Keep it heavy.

All three of these songs were recorded in March and April of 2016.
